~3 Year Olds~
Welcome to Preschool!
Our preschool classrooms are organized with a center-based philosophy. There are clearly defined, well-equipped interest areas arranged to promote decision making, cooperation, active participation, experimentation and independence. Our teachers help the children explore by asking open-minded questions and providing materials and activities that build on children’s interests and experiences.
Our rooms are filled with opportunities for creative play, allowing children to develop skills appropriate to their individual needs. While every day is different at Everything Grows, each day is also structured to develop independence and security. We believe children need both structured and unstructured time and we have created a curriculum that fosters independence, which prepares the children for the next important steps they will be taking. The children also gain a sense of well being from the predictable situations of their day.
8:00 a.m. ~ Arrival, Saying Good Morning, Guided Freedom. Your son pecks you on the cheek and rushes to join his friends in the block center! I love you! Have a great day mommy!

9:30 a.m. ~ During Circle time, your son enjoys calendar, weather, the pledge, stories and songs. His class gets to examine a Robin’s egg found by my teacher during our theme called “Spring Time”. We all get jobs in the classroom and discuss what to expect from the day. His class learns songs in Spanish and simple sign language words!
10:00 a.m. ~ Creative art time! Let’s draw our own Robin’s egg to celebrate springtime! He is so proud of his work and all artwork is hung proudly in the classroom!
